What an AI video generator does with your image
The model receives your image as the first frame and predicts what the next few seconds would look like. It is not applying a filter or panning a camera across a static picture — it is generating new frames. Small motion survives, large motion does not
A person breathing, steam rising, fabric moving, light shifting across a wall — these read as real because the model only invents changes consistent with the frame it was given. Ask for a turn, a walk, or a dramatic expression change and it has to invent information that was never in your photo. Faces warp and hands melt at exactly that boundary, and no amount of paying for a better model moves it.

Whatever you generate is built on the frame you hand over, so a distracting background or flat lighting carries straight into the video. How long does it take to turn an image into a video?
We publish our own measurements rather than an estimate. The free 480p render times at 158 to 168 seconds. Among the paid models a 5-second 720p clip took 57 seconds on MiniMax H3 Max, 122 on Wan 3.0, 201 on MiniMax H3 and 245 on Seedance 2.0. Almost none of that is upload or processing on our side — it is the model generating frames. Any tool whose progress bar fills in fifteen seconds is guessing.
Why does my subject's face distort?
Because the model only has one frame of information. Small movement — breathing, hair drifting, a slight camera push — stays consistent with what it can see. Asking someone to turn around or walk across the room forces it to invent the back of their head and the far side of the room. Ask for the smallest movement that still tells your story.
Is the free version watermarked?
No. The downloaded file has no watermark burned in and no overlay in the player. Free clips are 5 seconds at 480p with audio, one per device per day.

MiniMax H3 Max, by a wide margin: 57 seconds against 201 for the ordinary H3, for 40 credits against 38. Almost the same price, roughly a third of the wait. It tops out at 768p, so when you need a higher resolution Wan 3.0 or Seedance 2.0 are the ones to reach for.
How long are my files kept?
Free preview source images and videos are deleted from our storage within about 48 hours. Paid renders stay in your account history. We do not use either to train models.
Which model should I pick for a photo of a person?
Start with the free Seedance 2.0 Mini to find out whether the shot animates at all. If it does and you want it sharper, Wan 3.0 at 720p is the cheapest step up at 38 credits. If you would rather not wait, H3 Max returns in about a minute for 40.
